James Dicks is the visionary architect behind 509 Capital Group. A McGraw-Hill published author, U.S. Marine Corps veteran, and global financial educator, James has spent over 25 years building institutional-grade platforms across real estate and financial technology.
Real Estate: As CEO of DIX Developments, James led the evolution from land acquisition to full-service vertical integration. He oversees a portfolio with over $500M in development value, including 11,000+ residential lots and 7M sq. ft. of commercial space.
FinTech: James founded PremiereTrade, a pioneer in retail trading education that has served over 100,000 traders globally. He is the author of Forex Made Easy and eight other financial titles.
Service: James serves as Chair Emeritus for the DoD Florida Employer Support for the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) and President of the Seminole County Sheriff Foundation.
Jerry Smith serves as the operational linchpin connecting the group's Real Estate and Healthcare verticals. With over 30 years of executive experience, he bridges the gap between complex capital structuring and clinical operations.
Capital Markets & Public Process: As Director of Capital Markets for DIX, Mr. Smith navigates entitlements and public hearings while structuring capital stacks with private equity and banking partners.
Healthcare Leadership: Mr. Smith brings C-suite experience to the Regenx Group vertical. As former COO of 3J Partners and CEO of Advanced Genetic Solutions, he guided startups through genetic testing rollouts and lab diagnostics.
Credentials: BA, St. John’s; MA in Organizational Psychology, NYU. 4th-degree Black Belt in American Combat Karate with background in executive protection.
A licensed Real Estate Broker with over 30 years of experience, Scott Prewitt leads acquisition due diligence and strategic development. Working alongside the Chairman since the early 1990s, he oversees a diverse portfolio valued at more than $360 million.
Strategic Growth: Scott manages the consultant networks and due diligence processes for major acquisitions, including the Vive on Eola and the 1,200-unit Roan Bridge community. His roots in Florida real estate run deep—his father was one of the original brokers assembling land for Walt Disney World.
Public Service: Scott is a recipient of the DoD Seven Seals Award and serves as an Honorary Sheriff’s Deputy in Seminole, Osceola, St. Johns, and Citrus Counties.
As a second-generation leader, James Brunton manages business continuity, daily operations, and financial reporting. He serves as the primary liaison for institutional partners and oversees the firm’s compliance, tax, and family office reporting.
Operational Control: James bridges technical operations with financial strategy. He is responsible for managing accounts payable/receivable, corporate annual reports, and tax filings for over 35 entities.
Public Governance: James holds formal public appointments on the Community Development District (CDD) Boards for both Roan Bridge and Crystal Ridge, overseeing infrastructure bonding capacity exceeding $75 million.
Education: Business Marketing, University of Central Florida. Former Global Trading Technology specialist at PremiereTrade.
